(11/20/2025) Houston Dressage Society (HDS) regrets to announce the postponement of the upcoming Baird Championship Schooling Show, originally scheduled for December 6th, to run at Great Southwest Equestrian Center on January 17th and 18th. The open schooling show is canceled. This difficult decision was made in response to the recent confirmed cases and ongoing outbreak of Equine Herpesvirus-1 (EHV-1) in Texas. We are acting to prioritize the health and safety of all horses and minimize the potential spread of this serious disease. Updated prizelist and class offerings to be posted by December 2nd, we appreciate your patience and understanding. Our thoughts are with the equestrians & horses who have been negatively affected.
